Bonsai Time school was founded in 2006 by Giorgio Castagneri, after he became an IBS College Instructor. Since then, the school has been offering courses for those who are new to the bonsai world as well as for those who already have experience and specimens, but want to improve their techniques and knowledge. In a short period of time, the professionalism and expertise of Giorgio Castagneri have led to an increase in the number of students and external locations for the school.
The main headquarters remain in Nole, in the province of Turin in Piedmont, but over the years new external locations have expanded the school's reach: in addition to three new locations in the province of Turin, the school also operates in Spain, in Almuñecar, where it manages, in collaboration with the local club, a bonsai museum along with advanced courses.
Since the collaboration with instructor Carmelo Bonanno has intensified and he has opened a Bonsai Time school branch in Camporosso, the school has further expanded its reach by offering various courses in Liguria and France, with new locations in Monaco and Marseille.
The philosophy of Bonsai Time has always remained the same since its inception: to work with professionalism, seriousness, and ethical correctness, so that those who approach the school can find what they need to deepen their knowledge and improve their skills. Bonsai Time always strives to create united and cohesive working groups to work in the ideal environment for personal growth and not just technical skills.
