In Arte Bonsai offers a wide and refined selection of bonsai specimens, among which emerge typical essences of Japanese tradition and the most appreciated European and worldwide species. Majestic conifer bonsai, such as Scots pine, black pine, Itoigawa junipers, and yew trees, alternate with valuable deiciduous species such as large myrtle bonsai, olive, hornbeam, azalea, elm, oak, phillyrea, and many others.
In our garden, we cultivate and care for bonsai belonging to different stages of growth and maturity on a daily basis. We start with small trees that have just been trained, often already inserted into delightful glazed and unglazed pots, and we go up to masterpieces with a long history and timeless elegance. Each bonsai is chosen following the central criteria of this wonderful art, privileging the internal characteristics of formal balance and uniqueness: because one of the most fascinating characteristics of bonsai is that there are no two identical plants.
To meet every type of need, we have chosen to divide our selection of bonsai into three categories, each dedicated to a specific type of plant:
Collectible bonsai, mature trees ideal for experienced bonsai enthusiasts or those who want to enrich advanced-level gardens;
Outdoor bonsai, a vast collection of trees belonging to the most diverse species, ideal for practicing the art of bonsai at different levels and giving life to suggestive creations, choosing among the most fascinating styles such as forest, bunjin, windswept, informal upright.
The selection is completed by shitakusa, the colorful and graceful accent plants to be placed alongside bonsai trees in the tokonoma exhibitions.
