This specimen of the Japanese azalea variety hakurin no hikari is an outstanding bonsai. The wide nebari, the sinuous trunk and the primary branches with the right diameters are important characteristics of this azalea. The summer pruning that has just been carried out will ensure strong new vegetation to fill out the already well-structured pads. The photos are from July 2023.
